Full Moon
2nd February 5.44am GMT
Sun 12˚ 59' Aquarius
Moon 12˚ 59' Leo
The Moon has been looking amazing
set against the dark sky. I
had the pleasure of seeing the Moon Venus conjunction about 36 hours
after the last new Moon. I dragged my friends out of their home
and down the track to see it. How blessed we were to see the
thin sliver of the new Moon with Venus sitting next to it. As
I write, the moonlight is amazing and calls to me to go Moon bathing.
Well what does this full Moon chart
hold for us?
The Sun and Moon are opposite each
other, the Sun is conjunct Neptune (applying), the Moon is conjunct
Saturn (applying), Venus is conjunct Uranus (applying). Capricorn is rising and Mars and Pluto sit
either side of the ascendant, in fact the ascendant is on the Mars
Pluto midpoint. Saturn is the chart ruler in the 7th and opposite
Neptune (applying).
Capricorn ascendant likes to take
its time, needing a solid foundation before it steps out into the
world. Capricorn has sheer determination,
takes life seriously and often, after a lot of hard work, gets
what it wants. This ascendant is very powerful, being on the
midpoint of Mars Pluto. Ebertin suggests the “principles of this are
super human power, a desire to face danger, and accidents”. Capricorn
is connected to people in authority and the government. Maybe
something is going to happen in the government that’s going to affect
a lot of people?
The Sun is in its detriment conjunct
Neptune (applying) and in opposition to Saturn (applying) so it’s
not at its happiest. Mercury is
separating from an opposition with Saturn. This chart has a lot
of oppositions which can feel like front doors with all their bells
ringing at the same time and which one do you answer first? Oppositions
are about awareness and becoming aware of the other. Again, as
in the past, this chart reflects a lot of issues around self worth
versus the restrictions of other people’s feelings.
Pluto is conjunct the galactic centre
and there are lots of shifts going on for everyone. I hear more people talking about their
carbon footprint and taking responsibility for their actions on this
planet. The weather is the mildest it’s been in January since
1916 and more houses are being repossessed due to inflation. Sometimes
I wonder where it will all end. I come back to the point of what
I can do. I feed the birds (editor’s comment: even seagulls!)
commune with nature and honour every living being.
Happy full Moon

PS Don’t forget to look to the west and see Venus shining brightly
after sunset.
